If you don't live near London that's not a problem as you can still enjoy many activities and facilities offered by the 
National Philatelic Society 
 - and remember that we now aim to hold country meetings from time to time - the next is at Harrogate in 2008 


Here are just some:
  • Enjoy Stamp Lover when it arrives through the post every eight weeks and submit your free classified advertisements
  • Borrow books from the Library by post and (subject to copyright regulations) have photocopy extracts from books and periodicals sent to you
  • Buy and sell through the Stamp and Postal History Circulating Packets from your own home
  • Submit material to the Auctions, arrange to receive monthly Auction Lists by e-mail or by post (for the cost of the postage) and then submit postal bids
  • Buy from the Book Sales Lists of second hand books and catalogues that are sent to members with most issues of Stamp Lover
  • Make purchases from "Shop Window"

  • Participate in the Annual Competitions

    • Please note however that

      We cannot accept material for sale in the Packet or the Auction from members living outside the European Union since the Society cannot accept liability for VAT charged on entry into the UK.

      For insurance reasons the Circulating Packet cannot be sent to members living outside the United Kingdom.
  • You will pay a lower Annual Subscription if you live more than 60 miles from London and lower again if Overseas
  • You will be very welcome to visit the Library, attend the Saturday Meetings or meet us at the Information Stand at Stampex or other major philatelic events.
