Subscriptions cover the 12 months from 1 October to 30 September of the following year and current rates are

Members living within 60 miles of London

Members living in the UK but 60 miles or more from London

Family Membership - 
You may nominate one or more persons living at your address to be Family Members on payment of an additional £10 a year.
The £10 will cover one or more such Family Members. Family Members will not receive their own copies of Stamp Lover but, subject to the normal rules and procedures, they may participate in Society activities such as the auction and packet and borrow books from the Library in their own right. They may also attend meetings independently of their “main member” unless the Family Member is under 18 years of age, when, as in the case of any Junior Member, the Family Member must be accompanied by a parent.

Applicants or existing members wishing to nominate persons living at the same address to be Family Members should do so by completing and submitting the Family Membership Application Form.
 

Payment in £ Sterling cheques drawn on a UK Bank in £ Sterling, payable to National Philatelic Society.

Payment may also be made in US Dollars, but you should first ask the Membership Secretary nps@ukphilately.org.uk for the appropriate US Dollar subscription amount.

Checks
(cheques) must be drawn on a US Bank. Your subsequent annual renewal notices will indicate the US Dollar subscription rate applying at the time.

 

            FEE PAYABLE UPON JOINING


There is no joining fee as such. Depending upon when the Membership Form is submitted, the fees payable for the year (i.e.12 months to 30 September) in which the new Member joins are pro-rated as follows:

Within 60 miles of London

£27 £15 *

60 miles or more from London

£23 £15 *

Overseas

£19 £15*

Youth (under 18)

£10 *

   
Family Membership (see above) £10

* Send amount shown which covers the period up to 30th September of the next year ie up to three months extra free

YOU WISH TO GO AHEAD AND JOIN?

Simply print-off and complete the Membership Application Form and post it with your cheque to the Membership Secretary, National PS, c/o The British Postal Museum & Archive, Freeling House, Phoenix Place, London WC1X 0DL On receipt of your Application Form you will be sent the copies of our magazine Stamp Lover already issued for the period to which your subscription relates and the current programme card by way of acknowledgement. Subject to the Application being approved at the next Council meeting of the National PS, you will then receive your membership card, and we will all be very pleased to welcome you to the Society.
