  • The Moens-Torres Fantasy Stamps and Forgeries - Part 2 - Gerhard Lang-Valchs continues his look at some of the bogus stamps that appeared in philatelic journals in the nineteenth century, taking in Prince Edward Island, "Westervelt" the Irish Fenian essays, Amoy and the Confederate States. 

  • 1977 German Commemorative Cover - The liner Bremen , U-Boats and an "Insured Letter Carrier" stamp all come together on this 1977 cover that caught the eye of Dave Hill.

  • Checklist of Articles in the British Philatelic Press - our twice yearly listing covers the period July - December 2016

  • Meeting Reports - Detailed and informative reports on the Country Meeting at Thatcham on Saturday 25 March 2017 and the displays entitled "An excellent Afternoon's Entertainment" given on Saturday 8 April 2017 by Christine Earle, FRPSL  who showed "Sydney Harbour Bridge" and Patrick Reid who presented "Tasmania".

  • The Moens-Torres Fantasy Stamps and Forgeries - Part 3 - Gerhard Lang-Valchs concludes his look at some of the bogus stamps that appeared in philatelic journals in the nineteenth century. This time he looks at The Moresnet "April Fool", Paraguay, Guatemala, Hawaii, The Pahlunpoor Forgeries, and the Saxo-Bohemian Navigation,Leitmeritz and Kissingen Issue.

  • Respite in Algeria - John McCallum recently visited Algeria and uses his experience and collection to take us on a comprehensive tour of the country and its modern history. 

  • Meeting Reports - Detailed and informative reports on the display entitled "The Motor Car till 1970" given on Saturday 13 May 2017 by Anthony Miller and  the President's display given by Michael R Thompson on  Saturday 10 June that this year featured Kent Postal History.
