  • British Guiana - The \Waterlow Lithograph definitives 1860-1875 - Simon Richards gives a detailed account of the Waterlow definitives of 1860 issued to meet the demand for new values that resulted from the take over of the postal service by the colonial administration.   

  • A Pub with a Stamp Room - 2 million stamps were stuck on the walls of his "stamp room" by Richard Sharpe, landlord of the Rising Sun pub in Bersted. Dave Hill tells the story. 

  • Vienna 1933 Exhibition Medals "Find" - Jack Shamash found two medals at a North London auction. 

  • Checklist of Articles in the British Philatelic Press - our twice yearly listing covers the period July - December 2014.

  • New Issues

    • Gibraltar - additional definitives and a "Penny Black"

    • The Potato Essays - a sheet from Tristan da Cunha showing the designs used in the dependency's 1946  petition for its own stamps.

    • The ANZAC campaign - The second issue from New Zealand in its World War I series plus a joint issue from Australia and New Zealand marking the Australian and new Zealand Amy Corps itself

    • From Hungary, the centenary of Budapest's first bus service, from Slovakia an eye-catching stamp for the 20th annive             rsary of the country's bone-marrow transplant unit, and some colourful nature stamps from the Falkland Islands.

  • Meeting reports -  Detailed and illustrated reports on the Displays on the Antarctica and Shackleton's Voyage given by Tony Hoad  on Saturday 14 March  and "Great Britain Postal History with a difference" given by Don Davies on Saturday 11th April.
