  • How it started for me - how was it for you? - It may be a good few years since "Old Codger" was "Young Whippersnapper" and began collecting but in looking back our contributor is still much encouraged by today's stamp collecting scene.

  • A Window on the World No 2 - In post war Europe, collecting provided the impetus to cross the Channel - Barrie glover explains.

  • An Item from my Collection - Constantinople  - December 1920 -  A charge mark that appears not to have been previously recorded is described and illustrated by John Darnell.

  • New Issues - Europa 2008 - A look at the ways in which the participating countries have interpreted this year's theme of "The Letter", with a listing of the stamps and designs adopted.
     
  • The Pacific Islands - Chris Clifford, Vice Chairman of the Pacific Islands study Circle describes the collecting opportunities offered by the islands of the Pacific.

  • The Austrian Stamps 1850-1858 - The postmarks used on the 1850-1858 stamps of Austria and Lombardy-Venetia are described by Keith Tranmer.
