Periodicals held by NPS
Library
|
| Many are not aware of the extent of specialist
journals and commercial magazines that we hold within the NPS library. It is
hoped that this listing will encourage more use to be made of them, as they may
not only be consulted whilst at the library, whilst some may be borrowed by NPS
members, subject only to the normal terms of borrowing.

But please remember our
database is still being compiled and checked, so for the moment even if a
particular title or issue doesn't appear, we may still be able to assist -
please

us to check.
Can you help - Missing Issues?
Inevitably with this range of English and Foreign language material, there are
some periodicals where our holdings are incomplete. For one reason or another
certain issues are not received or have subsequently gone 'missing'. Apart from
frustrating research, missing issues prevent such volumes being bound until the
gaps have been filled. This exposes the copies that we do possess to potential
damage.
MISSING ISSUES?
If any visitor to this web site or to the Library itself, is able to assist us
by providing even one of these missing copies, they are invited to contact the
Honorary Librarian in writing (or
email us),who may be able to offer items that you need in exchange from our
duplicate holdings.
Can you help - Regular exchange with Stamp Lover?
If you represent an organisation producing a philatelic journal write to the
Hon Librarian at NPS, 107 Charterhouse Street, London EC1M 6PT (nps@ukphilately.org.uk)
to enquire whether or not we might be able to provide you with free copies of
Stamp Lover on a regular basis in exchange for copies of your journal, which we
can add to the extensive holding of journals (English and Foreign language)
available in the NPS Library.
Can you help - Missing Information?
If you have knowledge of particular periodicals, please go to our Listing and
Search page and look up the information held. In many cases, details our data
on a particular periodical is as yet incomplete, often as to when a particular
journal started or ceased publication. If you can provide some extra
information here, we will be very pleased to hear from you (nps@ukphilately.org.uk) |
