Each year, in December, the National PS holds its Annual Competitions. These are open to all members and are judged according to standard national criteria, and four class are available.

These are:

  1. Traditional
  2. Postal History
  3. Aerophilately
  4. Thematic


  • All entries should comprise 16 sheets.

  • Entries will be judged by outside, independent and qualified judges.

  • Each category has a trophy as a prize.

Johnson Literary Award

 

The Competitions Meeting is also the occasion for the annual presentation of the Johnson Literary Award, comprising a handsome antique silver desk set and illuminated certificate.

The winner is the author of the article which has received the highest number of votes from readers of Stamp Lover, in a popularity poll for the best article published in Stamp over during the previous year. click here for details of last years' winner.
