The ABPS/BPT International Committee is a joint ABPS and British
Philatelic trust Committee which is fully funded by international exhibitors
and the Trust. |
| Its
function is to manage all matters associated with the Federation Internationale
de Philatelie (FIP) and the Federation of European Philatelic Associations
(FEPA). In particular this covers the promotion of international exhibiting
where it represents the interests of UK exhibitors, the accreditation and
appointment of UK International Judges; the appointment of UK Commissioners to
international exhibitions and the nomination of UK philatelists for positions
on the FIP Commissions or the Board of Directors and Delegates to FIP
Congresses or FEPA Meetings. All those serving on this committee have extensive
experience of international philatelic affairs either as exhibitors,
commissioners, judges and or delegates and a number hold positions within FIP
or FEPA.
