Exhibitions & Conventions
The ABPS is involved with many exhibitions, and similar events staged throughout the United Kingdom.
Exhibitions
Up to 2006, the Association organised its own bi-annual national exhibition. These were held throughout the country, the intention being to take exhibitions out of London. Each exhibition concentrated on a major theme of philatelic activity.
Since 2006 when ABPS took over responsibility for the full National Exhibition and Competitions, these have been held annually. These are accompanied by Inter-Federation competitions for seniors and youth.

The exhibition is organised in association with the local philatelic federation on behalf of ABPS and ABPS Exhibitions Ltd. Many exhibits and dealers are present. There are meetings of societies and talks given by eminent philatelists.
Midpex
In alternate years the ABPS organises a biennial one-day exhibition which promotes the work of specialist societies. It is held in Coventry. Specialist societies have meetings and displays giving the ordinary collector an insight into the specialist field of collecting. Dealers are also present.
The next Midpex is expected to be held in 2009.
Other Exhibitions
Where possible, the Association also endeavours to be present at other major stamp exhibitions held within the United Kingdom, where it shares a joint publicity stand with the British Philatelic Trust and the National Philatelic Society. The Association is pleased to receive invitations to attend regular conventions organised by Federations.
To achieve this the Association has appointed an Exhibitions Officer who arranges for this representation to be made throughout the UK.
