The Association of British Philatelic Societies Ltd (ABPS) is the national organisation catering for the needs of philatelic federations, local and specialist societies, individual collectors and others interested in philately through all of its branches. 

To promote these needs it:

• organises various exhibitions and events throughout Britain 
• produces literature to assist individual collectors, local and specialist societies and philatelic federations
• provides support for programmes of seminars and workshops held throughout the country
• progresses applications for the award of Small Grants.
