The ABPS are taking a more leading, visible and constructive mode for the running of the exhibitions. It has put the National Exhibitions into the hands of the collectors. These exhibitions from 2006 will be held around Great Britain every other year; but we will need the support of Federations, local and specialist societies to run them. The ball is firmly in your court.
A new ABPS Exhibition committee has been set up with the brief to co-ordinate with the ABPS Executive, and the local organising committee on the running of National Exhibitions under the initial Chairmanship of Francis Kiddle supported by a small team of ABPS members, plus the assistance of Susan Ellis of BPT for co-ordinating the work of handling paperwork and to ensure everything comes together. The ABPS are grateful for the offer by the Trust for the use of 107 Charterhouse Street (now closed) to hand in and the hand back of exhibits after the show, and also for the judging of the exhibits prior to the National Exhibition.
Therefore the ABPS are pleased to announce that all ABPS National Exhibitions have been uprated to for both National and International classes.
